The NAHN Annual Conference celebrates the cultural achievements and professional expertise of our membership, and challenges attendees to expand our skillset and knowledge base. Each year the event attracts nurses, physicians, nurse educators, researchers, clinicians, case managers, healthcare innovators, and students from across the country. We are proud to offer the only nursing association meeting dedicated to exploring healthcare issues affecting the Hispanic population and proposing potential solutions.

Important Date Notice
Please note that educational sessions for the NAHN 49th Annual Conference will take place between Thursday, August 1 and Saturday, August 3, which is one weekday later than in recent years. The NAHN Student Bootcamp and Latino Leadership Institute will occur on Wednesday, July 31. 

Theme
The theme for the NAHN 49th Annual Conference is El Futuro es Hoy: Advancing Nursing Policies, Systems and Environmental Changes To Impact Our Diverse Communities

Learning Objectives
At the end of the NAHN 49th Annual Conference, participants will be able to: 

  • Explore innovations in healthcare education and their impact on preparing and retaining the next generation of healthcare professionals working in diverse communities.
  • Promote the adoption of evidence-based approaches to drive positive healthcare outcomes and transform the patient and nursing experience.
  • Synthesize evidence-based research to address healthcare disparities and promote health equity among diverse Hispanic communities.
  • Discuss the role of present, emerging, and future nurse leaders in workforce strategy, education, research, and policy to combat ongoing public health challenges affecting the nursing profession and diverse communities.

Continuing Nursing Education: NAHN is an approved CE provider by the District of Columbia Board of Nursing, Provider #50-14680. There are up to a total of 6.9 CEs possible for the Latino Leadership Institute and 16 CEs possible for the NAHN 49th Annual Conference. CEs for this program are available via the NAHN Conference App for each applicable session following the completion of a post-session evaluation.

Peach Gala Awards Dinner: A Taste of Atlanta

Join us for the highly-anticipated Peach Gala Awards Dinner & Celebration at the #NAHN2024 Conference on August 3! The theme is "A taste of Atlanta," and party-goers are encouraged to dress in formal or black tie attire incorporating jewel tones. Please note that a separate ticket will be required for the gala (it is not included in a full conference pass). Don't miss your opportunity to mingle with NAHN peers and enjoy a night of dancing, food, and fun.
