NAHN National Association of Hispanic Nurses® is a non-profit professional association committed to the promotion of the professionalism and dedication of Hispanic nurses by providing equal access to educational, professional, and economic opportunities for Hispanic nurses.
NAHN is also dedicated to the improvement of the quality of health and nursing care of Hispanic consumers.
NAHN Awards2013 NAHN SPECIAL AWARDS Recognizing Education, Community Service, and Leadership The National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) established the Ildaura Murillo-Rohde Award for Education Excellence, the Henrietta Villaescusa Community Service Award, the Janie Menchaca Wilson Leadership Award, and the Sarah Gomez Erlach Humanitarian Award to honor and provide special recognition to Hispanic nurses. These Special Awards honor NAHN members for their demonstrated excellence in nursing education, community service and for their spirit and dedication in serving the Hispanic community. Special awards are an opportunity for NAHN members to be recognized and celebrated for their extraordinary achievements within the discipline of nursing. The 2013 NAHN Special Awards will be presented at the 2013 Annual NAHN Conference Awards Gala.
