The Leadership Conference promotes both the mission and goals of NAHN. One of the objectives of NAHN is to advance the educational, professional, and leadership skills of Hispanic nurses in order to increase the number of Hispanic researchers, administrators, and educators. The Leadership Conference is held in January of each year. The purpose of the Leadership conference is to:
- Recognize, develop, and respect a variety of leadership styles that promote the organization;
- Enhance personal leadership skills that positively impact the organization and community;
- Develop skills to improve the management and sustainability of individual chapters which may include communication skills, conflict resolution, health policy advocacy, and membership growth.
