2021 Latino Leadership Institute and Hill Day
SAVE THE DATE! We will return to the historic Willard InterContinental Hotel for our next Latino Leadership Institute and Hill Day, following the success of our 2020 events which were held at the Willard.
The NAHN Latino Leadership Institute (LLI) is a distinguished event for addressing high-impact leadership development specifically tailored for Latino nurses.
The LLI will convene nursing leaders from academia, research, education, and practice to address leadership roles within their workplaces, professional organizations, communities, legislative arenas and governmental agencies. NAHN is committed to prepare our members to become engaged professionals and to take action to build their leadership skills, thereby impacting the health care outcomes of the increased number of Latinos in our country.
NAHN believes that the more we prepare our nurse leaders to become engaged and to take action to build their leadership skills, the more influence nursing and its values will have on health care priorities.
The purpose of the Hill Day, a one-day event held prior to the Latino Leadership Institute, is to call on our nation’s policymakers to help us shape the national dialogue of the issues affecting our patients and our communities. NAHN is dedicated to transforming the future of healthcare at the local, state and national levels. As nurses, we are the voice of healthcare and can provide expertise and perspectives that can guide members of Congress and their staff.
You may secure your hotel accommodations at any time by calling the Willard InterContinental at (800) 424-6835 or (202) 628-9100; reference Group Code IZ3. NAHN has negotiated a special discounted rate of just $219 plus taxes, per night.
