Anabell Castro Thompson and María de los Ángeles Ordonez Inducted as Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in June 20 Ceremony at AAN Conference in Indianapolis

Anabell Castro Thompson, MSN, RN, ANP-C, FAAN, and María de los Ángeles Ordóñez, DNP, ARNP-BC, FAAN, will be among 64 nurse practitioners who will be inducted as Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners at a ceremony on June 20 during the AANP Annual Conference in Indianapolis, IN.

Anabell, who is Immediate Past President of NAHN, is a nurse practitioners and a senior vice president of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Equality Health in Phoenix, AZ.

 Maria is a gerontological nurse practitioner and a member of the faculty at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. She recently completed a term on the NAHN Board of Directors.

 The FAANP program was established in 2000 to recognize NP leaders who have made outstanding contributions to health care through clinical practice, research, education or policy. AANP Fellows are visionaries who hold an annual think tank to strategize about the future of NPs and health care.
