Jim Booth, CAE, has 33 years association management experience. He is the Director of Operations at FirstPoint Management Resources. In that capacity he supports all account managers and maintains relationships with all clients. He has served state, national and international associations in various capacities including membership, operations, marketing and Executive Director/CEO. He has direct standards development experience through NFPA and ANSI Certification preparation consulting. He has extensive experience in international meeting planning in North America, Europe, and Asia. He has engaged in advocacy and lobbying in Missouri, at the Congressional level, and with members of the European Parliament and European Council.

 

 
 

Cresta Archuletta

Prior to joining NAHN, Cresta worked as director of strategic partnerships with the Hispanic Communications Network, where she carried project management duties for the National Institutes of Health Science Education Partnership Award. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Colorado State University.

Duties with NAHN:
Responsible for the overall operations of NAHN. Serves as the chief staff executive and point of coordination between the NAHN Board of Directors and other staff members. These duties include: governance activities; financial oversight and budgeting; membership benefit development and strategic relationships with partners including CoBA; direct administration and support of grants and sponsorships. Assist staff and committees with the following: membership growth and development; chapter support; HHCI journal activities and regular communication channels; conference management and sales activities; recognition activities including awards and scholarships.

 

 
 

Caroline Beam

Caroline graduated from North Carolina State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in business administration. She also has a Certificate in Event Development through Duke University’s continuing education program. When Caroline is not working on NAHN’s meetings and sales efforts, she enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants with her soon to be husband.

Duties with NAHN:
All things related to the planning, management and execution of NAHN’s two major meetings: the Annual Conference and the Leadership Retreat. She also handles exhibit and sponsorship sales as well as corporate partnerships. She is the staff liaison to NAHN’s Education Committee.

 

 
 

Teri Saylor

Teri’s career in journalism, communications and association management has taken her to the world of newspapers, magazines and corporate communications. She has served as executive director of the North Carolina Press Association, edited a local sports magazine and was public affairs director for the North Carolina Railroad Company. She has also served in various positions at First Point Management Resources. She has a BA in English and communications from North Carolina State University, and enjoys freelance writing, journalism and photography.

Duties with NAHN:
Teri handles communication, creating and distributing e-newsletters and other publications, keeping the website up to date, managing social media, and performing other duties related to NAHN’s communication efforts. She serves as liaison to NAHN’s Engagement Committee

 

 
 

Maria T. Morales

Maria was born in Queens, NY but was raised in Medellin, Colombia South America. She graduated with an associate’s degree in General Studies at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks and currently volunteers on a weekly basis for a program called HELP at Wake Med hospital, where she works under the supervision of nurses to help prevent delirium among hospitalized elderly patients (Abuelitos). She is a big believer in great customer service and in kindness plus she's very excited to start a new career with NAHN. She loves to travel with her husband whenever she gets the opportunity to do so and believes that life is just a little moment that needs to be cherish and shared with the people we love the most.

Duties with NAHN:
Maria’s happy and welcoming voice is usually the first one you hear when you call NAHN’s headquarters. She handles membership, including billing dues and payments; she assists chapters' presidents with leadership, guidance, restructuration of chapters and helps them keep their rosters up to date. She also provides members general assistance and answers questions about the nursing profession. She is the staff liaison to NAHN’s Membership committee.
