NAHN National Association of Hispanic Nurses® is a non-profit professional association committed to the promotion of the professionalism and dedication of Hispanic nurses by providing equal access to educational, professional, and economic opportunities for Hispanic nurses.

NAHN is also dedicated to the improvement of the quality of health and nursing care of Hispanic consumers.

Relevant NAHN Experience:

I am the founding President of local chapter and have participated in bringing an awareness of the need for Hispanic nurses in our community. I have participated with President's retreats and annual conferences and participated in important discussions regarding our organization. I have been involved as a member of the Development committee since our last annual conference.

Platform Statement

As a Board Member, I will endeavor to bring a greater awareness of NAHN to communities, states,and as
much as possible to national levels. I will work with all the constituents to become a stronger and more
committed organization. I have served on local, state, and national organizations and bring some
experience to working with others. My passion for worthwhile organizations is my driving force. I know that
our future depends on how much we do today.
