NAHN is also dedicated to the improvement of the quality of health and nursing care of Hispanic consumers.

Relevant NAHN Experience:

I have been a member of NAHN since 2005. In 2006 I developed the Broward County Chapter. NAHN to me has been a wonderful experience and a growth process. I believe in the NAHN mission and vision to develop and grow the Hispanic Community. I have had the opportunity to network and met many passionate and caring individuals through this wonderful association. Through these mentors I decided to run for a board position in 2008.

Platform Statement

I have been the NAHN Secretary for two (2) terms, this would be my third term and as such it would be an honor to once again serve as your secretary. I believe the new president coming in will take us to new heights an growth and I would enjoy being part of that growth.

As the secretary I see this role as important as any Board member. It gives me the opportunity to be another voice for NAHN, always presenting and publicly speaking to all, as we as Latinos can and should all do.

My goal is to support our president, be a voice for membership, increase recruitment and keep you
informed. I visualize NAHN growing in leaps and bounds as a professional organization in the coming years!
